My favorite 3 products for at Home Whitening

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Crest at Walmart.com. The opinions and text are all mine.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have once wondered about my favorite at- home teeth whitening products. Okay maybe you haven’t personally wondered LOL but I do get an email at least once a month asking just that. I am so excited to be partnering with Walmart.com to share with you my three favorite at- home teeth whitening products.

This post is in partnership with Walmart but as always all opinions are my own. Keep reading if you would like to learn from my personal experience with charcoal powder, whitening toothpaste, and at home white strips.

For this post I tried Burt’s Bees Activated Coconut Charcoal Powder, Crest 3D Charcoal Deep Clean Fluoride Toothpaste and Crest 3D Whitestrips Professional Teeth Whitening Kit from Walmart.com. To see a summary of each at home teeth whitening product feel free to scroll to the bottom of this post. I tried to be very detailed to share my experience with these at home whitening products.

Charcoal Powder – Tutorial & ProTips

To be honest this is my very first time using charcoal powder to whiten my teeth. I opted for the Burt’s Bees Activated Coconut Charcoal Powder that I bought at Walmart.com.

The charcoal powder is a loose powder that you dip your brush into to cover the bristles. Then you brush your teeth as you usually would.

Even though the loose powder did get on my super white robe, it washed off completely, and it washed down the sink just fine.

ProTips

The results from the Burt’s Bees Activated Charcoal Powder appeared to be the most immediate of any at home teeth whitening product I have ever tried. And I have tried a lot! The powder wasn’t gritty at all, and it tasted just like toothpaste to me. The process was quick and immediate. And easy peasy!

If you have sensitive teeth this product is a great option to allow you to whiten your teeth with less sensitivity. Sometimes a teeth whitening system can leave my teeth feeling really sensitive but I did not experience that at all after using the Burt’s Bees Activated Charcoal Powder. The powder, made from Coconuts, allows you to gently whiten your teeth for a brighter, more radiant smile!

Whitening Toothpaste – Tutorial & ProTips

I love a good whitening toothpaste and I have been a loyal user of whitening toothpaste for years. I was excited to find Crest 3D Charcoal Deep Clean Fluoride Toothpaste on Walmart.com. After my first experience with the Burt’s Bees powder, I was a little obsessed with the idea of charcoal as a teeth whitening agent. Crest 3D Charcoal Toothpaste is the first one I have seen with the charcoal inside so I was excited to try it.

ProTips

The Crest 3D Charcoal Toothpaste is super easy to use. If you know how to brush your teeth you know how to use this product. I thought it was neat that the charcoal left a stripe down the side of the toothpaste when I put in on my toothbrush.

The amount of charcoal in the toothpaste was definitely smaller than the amount you would use if you were to dip your toothbrush directly into the charcoal powder but the idea of even a small amount was enough to help me feel like the charcoal in the toothpaste was setting the stage for some deep activation of the whitening power in the Crest 3D Charcoal Toothpaste.

At home Whitening Strips –
– Tutorial & ProTips

By far Whitestrips are my favorite at home whitening product. I have used several different types and Crest 3D Whitestrips have always been my go to! If you are looking for ultra-white teeth and have a little time to invest, the Crest 3D Whitestrips Professional Teeth Whitening Kit is the best option.

To use, simply peel the non-slip plastic film off the packaging and place the larger strip on the top row of our teeth. Repeat the process with the bottom row of teeth. Let the whitening strips sit on your teeth for 15- 30 minutes.

ProTips

They work so good! I have been using Crest Whitestrips since I was in high school. I have seen the evolution of this product. The latest whitestrips don’t wiggle around anymore! Now you have to peel them off your teeth when it’s time to remove them. That sounds crazy but it’s such an improvement if you have used the older ones. It’s probably why I always keep Crest Whitestrips stocked in my medicine cabinet.

I use whitestrips about once a year, or if I have something really really important coming up, like a huge photo shoot or a pageant. I use whitening toothpaste twice a day… everyday! And now I am excited to use activated charcoal powder as an on demand teeth whitener for those impromptu nights that I need a little whitening pump up… pronto!

I hope you enjoyed this breakdown of how I maintain my pearly whites!! As promised below is a high level summary of all the products I shared above.
